Detailed Itinerary
BhutanDay 01 : Arrival Paro
During the journey into Paro you will experience breathtaking views of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchanjunga, Mt. Chomolhari and Mt. Jichu. On arrival you will be greeted by our executive and transferred to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02 : Paro
In the morning of the 2nd day we will freshen up and after breakfast we will stroll the Paro valley, which contains the wealth of attractions. First of all we will venture through the tarraced farms and have a look at the agrarian life of the Bhutanese people. We will witness the women and small children paddling through the water soaked fields and the farmers harvesting the rice with the hand. Than we will visit the farm houses that offers the good glimpse of the lifestyle of the farmers. These farmhouses are very colourfully and traditionally built. After that we will visit the Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum, built in 1649 by the governor of Paro Valley. Here we can see all art treasure, images made of precious metals, scriptures and paintings which are preserved and conserved for worship, study and enjoyment. Than we will visit Rinping Dzong just behind the Ta Dzong. It houses the office of the district administration and the residence of the monk body. After that we will stop for the lunch in the local restaurant. Afterward we will climb the Taktshang Monastery also known as Tigers Nest. It will take us approximately four hours to reach the Monastery. We will enjoy the views of the frozen peaks in the background. We will explore the dzong for 1-2 hours. In the dinner we will enjoy the typically Bhutanese dishes prepared with the herbs and chillies and served with indigenous red rice. Overnight in the hotel at Paro.

Day 03 : Paro -Thimphu
After refreshment on the 3rd day of the tour we will get ready to visit the most amazing place of Bhutan, Thimphu. Firstly we we will stop at the post office, from here we will buy the unique Bhutanese Stamps. Then we will visit the Memorial Chorten, which is a multi storied stupa built in the memory of Late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. There after we will visit the Arts and crafts School, where we will see the small children learing the traditional art and crafts work. Than we will proceed our journey to the Botanical Garden. We can see the yaks and takins, the National Wild animals of Bhutan.In the evening we will stroll the streets of Thimphu. We will enjoy the flavours of the street food. We will converse with the local people in Dzongkha. We will purchase the traditional Bhutanese Costumes Gho and Kira, colourful masks and other handicrafts items from the market. Than we will move to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 04 : Thimphu - Trongsa
After enjoying the riches of the Thimphu, we will move towards the Trongsa on the 4th day of the tour. We will glimpse the religious life of the Bhutanese people. Buddhism forms the important part of their life and almost every home has an altar where families worship daily. We will take the scenic drive through the dense forests of oak trees and rhododendrons. Along the way look for the red pandas that sleep in the trees. We will spot the Blue sheep and black necked cranes on our route. We will pass through the Pele – La Pass which is marked by the array prayer flags. We will glimpse the Jhomolhari and other peaks from the pass. As we pass through the Longte Valley we will run along with the herds of the yaks. Than we will stop at the village of the Rukubji Valley for the lunch. Women will offer you the betel nut as a customary gesture of greeting. Experience the unique culture and distinct social customs followed by the people in Bhutan. Than in the last we will reach the Trongsa Dzong - Built in 1648 AD it is presently the administrative seat of the district and the home of the monastic school. We will admire the architectural wonder of the Dzong. In the dinner we will have the yak meat spiced up with the chillies. Today we will spend night in the local lodge in Jakar Valley in Bumthang

Book This Tour Day 05 : Trongsa - Bumthang
In the morning of the 5th day we will start our day with the butter tea with the local villagers. Than we will take the sightseeing tour of the village for the whole day. We will meet the textile weavers to discuss the weaning and about the dyed threads. Afterward we will visit the Jakar Dzong, which is the palace of White bird as well as Jambay and Kurjey Lhakhang. After that we will enjoy the nature walk along the Flaming Lake and will visit the religious spots. In the evening we will visit the Stone flour grist water mill and a beer and cheese factory. In the evening we will return back to the lodge. At dinner we will enjoy the local dance performed by the local people wearing masks. Overnoght in the lodge.
Day 06 : Bumthang - Punakha
BhutanOn the 6th day of the tour we will get up early in the morning and after breakfast we will leave for Punakha. We will make a visit to the Punakha Dzong, which lies at the confluence of the Po chu (male river) and Mo chu ( female river). Tshechu one of the most renowned festivals in Bhutan is celebrated in this Dzong every year. After that we will visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chhorten, which is the spelinded example of the fine Bhutanese architecture. Than we will stop for the lunch and we will enjoy the National Dish called Ema Datse prepared with the cheese and chillies. We will also taste the local home made beverage called Arak. In the evening we will visit Chhimi Lhakhang. It is beautifully located on the raised hill top with a glamorous terraced field and village in the foreground. Overnight in the hotel in Punakha.

Day 07 : Punakha - Paro
In the morning of the 7th day we will spend time in leisure. Today we will enjoy the local archers at play followed by the traditional music, singing, dancing and gaiety. We will spot the men wearing Gho and the women wearing Kira made of richly woven and sometimes embroidered fabrics of wool, cotton and silk. In the evening we will wander through the town and spend some time exploring the colourful market of Paro. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 08 :Paro Departure
On the 8th day our executive will drop you to the Paro International Airport for the onward journey.
