Day 01 : Paro

Arrive
at the airport where our representative will meet you and escort you to the
hotel. You will be welcomed by our staff there and a welcome drink will be
served. Evening at your leisure, enjoy the Tibetan and Indian food out there
with soothing music. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Paro
After having breakfast prepare yourself to explore small and most beautiful
valley in Bhutan. Its a absolutely paradise for natures lover.
Fresh air, pine covered mountains around the valley and tiny villages
scattered over is a treat. Youll be taken to Paro town, which is half
of kilometer street with houses and shops on either sides. On the plain
where you hire bicycle and wander around Paro valley for an exhilarating
experience. However, it is advisable to ride only to plain tracks,if not
steeper and longer ride. It would be highly strenuous if you are a
greenhorn. After having delicious lunch (do not have too much of it as in a
low pressure with huge breakfast could bloat your stomach) youll be
guided to Ta-Dzong, formerly a watch-tower, now a national museum housing
some of the best paintings and artifacts of the region. If you wish you can
spend sometimes on the silent river bank. From there youll visit
Taktsang Monastery, one of the holiest in Bhutan is perched high up on a
cliff in the valley and can be seen en route to Drugyel Dzong. In the
evening return back to hotel. In the hotel you'll served with traditional
Bhutanese cuisines and drink. Overnight stay at hotel..
Day 03 : Paro - Thimphu
After breakfast you'll be taken to Bhutan's capital-Thimphu. Youll be
guided to Tashichhodzong (fortress of glorious religion) and Simtokha Dzong,
the first fortress that is around 4 miles drive from Thimpu town, situated
on a lofty ridge and now become the educational institute of Buddhist
studies. From there youll be taken to national library, which is a
vast collection of ancient manuscripts and heritage building that also an
attraction for the travelers. In the museum you will see living farmhouse of
19th century depicting the harmonious living style of Bhutanese family with
the domestic animals in the premises. If time permits visit other places
like traditional painting schools and traditional medicine institute.
Evening will be the time to satisfy your shopping spree. Thimphu is shoppers
paradise for the tourists. One of the local specialty are the traditional
clothes, also you can browse different items like hand-woven fabrics, carved
masks, religious thangkas,woven baskets, handmade paper and finely crafted
metal objects at different roadside shops. You can buy masks and handicraft
at local market in a much cheaper rate than shops. Bhutanese people are
simple and honest so you dont have to bargain hard. While shopping
always remember buying and selling of antiques are strictly forbidden in the
valley. Overnight stay at hotel and enjoy another round of hot
Bhutanese cuisines.
Day 04 : Thimphu- Punakha
Early morning we will leave for Punakha, there are two ways to go there, we
will take you from the impressive Dochula Pass (Dochula La), it is located
at 10,500ft. Most of the climate is mild and soothing that will make your
journey more exciting. We will recommend you for the early morning ride as
you'll mesmerize to see the early morning sun rays cast on the mountains to
formed brilliant scenic beauty. Couple of spots are particularly allure
majority of tourists. One is Chime Lakhang located on the hillls among the
rice fields, is the pilgrimage of childless couples. You can sense a deadly
silence in the monasteries, which will tranquil your mind. If you wish you
can walk to nearby villages and experience the rural life of Bhutan. From
there youll taken to Punnaka Dzong,which is a classical example of
Bhutanese architecture. It has embalmed body of founder of Bhutan and sacred
artifacts. From there youll be driven hour's drive to wind swept town
, Wangduephodrang. It is a small town known for its slate carving and bamboo
weaving. You can wander further to rural areas and explore the life there.
From Punakha along the Punak Chu river and on the way to Trongsa.
Wangdiphodrang Dzong is located on the merging of Punak Chu and Dang Chu
rivers. In evening roam around the town and return back to hotel in Punakha.
Day 05 : Punakha- Paro
Afer having your breakfast at hotel, we will return back to Paro. Stroll in
Paro town. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 : Departure to next destination(end of tour)
