The three heritage cities of India -
Delhi,
Agra
and
Jaipur, frame the famous Golden
triangle tour India. In this package, you would unfurl the various aspect of
these cities. The cities give a healthy competition and it often becomes
difficult for the travellers to know which one is better than the other. For
Taj Mahal, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Golden triangle tour package is often
considered the best choice. The entire tour package gives soporific effect
and promises to trance you for a long period of time.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi.
You would arrive at Delhi airport, better known as the Indira Gandhi
International Airport (IGI). The airport is well connected with all the
major states of the world. We would have our representative at the airport
who would be eagerly waiting for you on the airport. He would be a friendly
person who would transfer you from the airport to the pre booked hotel. On
way, you could view the diverse nature of Delhi - an ideal amalgamation of
modern and archaic time. Since this would be your first day in Delhi, we
would like you to relax and enjoy the pleasures provided by the hotel. You
would be served with a delectable cuisine, according to your wish. Overnight
stay in the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
We have already jotted down your day plan and we would start with Old
Delhi. Old Delhi is a dynamic part of the city and offers wondrous
experience to the people who visit it for the first time. A visit to Old
Delhi is impregnable. We would first explore Jama Masjid. It is one of the
largest mosque in India and was constructed in 1615 AD. Then we would visit
Qutub Minar, one of the tallest edifice in Delhi. This is an Indo Islamic
architecture of India and falls on Mehrauli road which is 14 kms from the
city centre.
A rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk would add a bit of adventure. A twist and
a turn that you would take on a road would open many fiesta for to know.
Photo shoot while sitting on a rickshaw completes your foray and would give
you an opportunity to capture some archaic and carry back to your world. If
not photo- shoot, try Kulfi, an Indian ice cream.
We would arrange tour lunch in five star deluxe hotel so that you can
relish the taste of your food. From Old Delhi, your taxi/coach would take
you to more contemporary part of Delhi. Here we would cover spots like
India Gate and Akshardham temple. You would be a part of the sound and
light show which is held in the temple in the evening. The program is held
for one hr and it starts at 7:20 PM to 8:20 PM.
If you would want we would have our dinner in the temple itself. The
restaurant here serves pure vegetarian Indian food otherwise we would come
back to our hotel to have our food.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (205 Kms - 4.30 hours)
From Delhi, we would leave for Agra which is 205 kms from the city. We
would resort to a pre booked hotel where you would be given a traditional
Indian welcome. You would be served with a hot cup of coffee. After relaxing
for a while, we would start our foray in the city. Agra is synonym with Taj.
This would be form the first attraction on our city tour.
Taj Mahal is a mausoleum which was
constructed by an emperor for his beloved wife. This is one typical gift
which was given by a husband to her dead wife.
Just 2 km away from Taj Mahal, you have the famous Agra Fort. The fort is a
masterpiece of Mughal Emperor Akbar and was constructed in 1565 AD. Built in
red sandstone, Agra fort is an ideal example of Rajput and Mughal
architecture.
You would have your lunch in a good restaurant which would serve you some
good dishes. Post lunch, we would walk down the narrow lanes of Agra market
to experience the beauty of its kind. The delicacies served here are just
phenomenal. Sweet dish like " Pitha'' are well made, so they can come
in your list of buys.
The city is not so well planned. On the same road you would find bullock
carts, cycles and hoards of people. Navigating through some roads can be an
art of an expert driver and we would provide you with a best luxury coach
with an experienced driver.
We would also visit Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site. The city was
constructed by the Mughal Emperor and carries some great edifices of the
city. The great monumental heritage was created in 1569 and 1585. Late
evening we would return back to our hotel. The day would end with your food
being served.
Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur (235 Kms - 5 Hours)
We would start our next day expedition with Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary.
The park is known for birds and primarily inhabits some major avifuana
species. There are around 350 species in the park. As soon as your wildlife
exploration ends you would enter another frame of travel. From wild to
heritage....Within the park, you have certain attraction which are enough to
move your heart and it would be difficult on your part as to which one is
the best. Deeg Palace and Lohagarh fort are the few attractions of the
state. The fort was constructed with great care and precision. It is a well
preserved palace with large manicured gardens. Bharatpur Palace would be
another marvellous structure which you could explore on your Bharatpur
expedition. Later in the evening we would return to our resort where a slide
show would be shown depicting the rich heritage of the city followed by a
sumptuous dinner. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur
From Jaipur to Agra, we would leave for Jaipur which is 235 kms. It would
take 5 hrs to reach Jaipur. We would start early in the morning, after
breakfast. If in Agra you were awestruck, in Jaipur you would be bedazzled.
You would be travelling from one heritage city to another and we are sure by
now you would have accumulated numerous incidences which would have added
experiences to remember.
In Jaipur, we would book you room in a heritage hotel. You could place your
demand in this and accordingly we would finalize a good hotel. This is a
premier deluxe hotel in Jaipur and would definitely give you a lot of scope
to experience the heritage values of the city. Here the waiters would be
dressed in traditional Rajasthan costumes. A good way to experience some
fundamental Indian values and hospitality.
After having our breakfast, we would board a cab/coach and head towards
Amber fort which is 11 kms from the city. Amber fort is a must on every tour
itinerary to Rajasthan. From Amber fort, we would leave for Hawa Mahal. This
is an enticing frescoed palace. The Mahal was created for the royal ladies
so that they could actually watch the regal processions.
From Hawa Mahal, we would visit the famous City Palace, which is adjacent
to the fort. In fact we would suggest that from Hawa Mahal, you first
explore the Sardeohi Bazaar which is next to Hawa Mahal and then visit the
famous City Palace. In the City Palace complex, you would have number of
things to explore and it would began with museums which carries pieces of
the bygone era. From City Palace we would return to our hotel for a night
stay. Your food would be served as and when desired.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Delhi (250 Kms. - 5.30 Hours )
We would like you to spend another day in Jaipur as there a enormous things
which you could explore on your tour . After breakfast, we would visit some
fascinating places of the city. The second day would start our expedition
with shopping in Jaipur and unfurl almost all the major markets of Jaipur.
Tripolia market, Johri bazaar, Kishanpol bazaar are some fundamental markets
which would force you to spend money.
Second half, after lunch, we would visit Jaigarh fort. Constructed by the
Sawai Jai Singh, Jaigarh fort is extraordinary example of the Rajput
architecture. Constructed in 1726 AD, Jaigarh fort was constructed by Sawai
Jai Singh. The fort carries the largest cannon on wheel which is known as
the Jaivan.
And then we would try to arrange a short visit to a traditional home at
Jaipur. This visit would enable you to understand the culture of Rajasthan.
In fact this visit would be good enough to experience the beauty of the
city. At your host house, it is quite possible that you are served with some
delicious cuisine which could include Dal Batti Churma. As we see it all,
then we would return to our resort. You would be served with delicious
Indian cuisine. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07 : Delhi
From Jaipur, we would take a drive to Jaipur which is 250 kilometers from
the city. This would end your Golden Triangle tour. We have customized this
tour so that you can experience best of three heritage cities, namely -
Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
