We
start our journey from Kolkatta ( Calcutta ),once the
centre of power during the British Raj , it created a unique culture and
heritage, totally unlike any other city in India.The city retains some of
the most striking colonial buildings of the country. The Victoria Memorial
,Howrah bridge , Birla Planetarium attract attention of all regardless of
their age. On the third day , we fly to Guwahati so as to reach
Kaziranga ,
the land of rhino.Stay here for three
nights and enjoy the game drives in the park.
Travel by road to
Jaldapara, best place to see
rhino , elephants and other wildlife .
It protects lush forest and grasslands , cut by the wide Torsa river.

your jouney to
Gangtok where the list of attractions is
endless.Its a beautiful place to move around and houses sites like the most
important 'stupa' of Sikkim, the solitary temple or the Enchey monastery,
the marvellous collection of orchids and the picturesque Tashi Ling that
provides an astounding view of the Kanchenjunga range. The Namgyal Institute
of Research and the Tsuk la Khang, a depository of a large collection of
scriptures and the principal place of worship for the local Buddhists, are
some of the other places that are worth visiting.
For witnessing the sheer magnificence of mountains, unsullied and pristine,
nothing compares with a visit to the famous hill station of
Darjeeling.
Even as you drive up the curvaceous roads or take the famous toy train to
your destination, you will be awestruck by the resplendence of nature !!
From Darjeeling , we travel to Bagdogra to fly back to
Calcutta . Here you may stay for an
overnight or transit till your onward flight.
