There are three groups of temple in Khajuraho - Western Group, Southern

Khajuraho Group of Western Temples
In Western group of temples you can explore - Chaunsat Yogini, Kandariya
Mahadeo, Chitragupta Temple , Matangeswara Temple, Lakshamana Temple.
Western Group of temples are considered the best amongst the entire range of
Khjaurhao temples.
Khajuraho Group of Eastern Temples
On the Eastern side of Khajuraho temples India lies few other temples which
include - Parsvanth Temple, Ghantai Temple, Adinath Temple in this group.
Khajuraho Group of Southern Temples
This group has some newly excavated temples, which are believed to be older
then the other 84 temples. Some of the temples in the group are - Duladeo
Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple, State Museum of Tribal and Folk Arts, New Temple
Excavated. You can also enjoy Sound & Light Show in this part of the
whole temple complex.

Raneh Falls is 19 km. from Khajuraho, on the ken river are famous for their

Gangau Dam
Situated some 34 km from Khajuraho. The dam is surrounded by the Panna
National Park & Gangau Sanctuary.
Pandav Falls
About 34 kms from Khanjuraho, a picturesque waterfall in a bowl shaped
valley on the ken river. The Pandavas are believed to have spent a part of
their exile here.

Getting There
By Air : The airport is at Khajuraho.The city of
Khajuraho is well connected with Indian airlines. The flight is well linked
and it flies thrice in a week from Delhi via Agra and Varanasi. From
airport, you could hire an AC taxi or a non AC taxi or an autorickshaw which
would help you get to your resort.
By Rail : Jhansi (172 kms) and Satna (117 kms) are the
major railheads. You can easily take the Shatabdi express from Delhi to
reach Jhansi which is the nearest railhead. From the station one can hire a
cab to Khajuraho. It would take approximately 4 hrs to reach Khajuraho
without stopping midway.
By Road : Khajuraho is 590 kms from Delhi via Gwalior and
Jhansi.
