Destination Coverd : Delhi - Jaipur - Agra - Varanasi - Delhi
North India Temple Tour captures the Northern zone of
India. This zone is predominantly dotted with number of temples. Each and
every temple has a unique architecture yet they often blend of different
forms of architectural style. The tour span over a duration of 8 to 9 days
and covers destination like
Delhi,
Agra and Jaipur.
Day 1 :Delhi
You would arrive at Delhi International Airport and from there you would be
transffered to the prebooked hotel. On this day we won’t be doing much
travel, infact would just relax and comfort ourself. The best way to spend
time in the resort is either watch a television or spend some time reading
novels. If still you don’t feel better than probably a stroll would be
better. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 2:Delhi – Jaipur
FOn the second day, we would leave from Delhi to
Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital city of
Rajasthan and is definitely a masterpiece of India. We would land in a
deluxe hotel in Jaipur, a perfect retreat which would enhance your tour by
manifold. If you would want we would book a room in heritage hotel and this
would give you an oppurtunity to understand the lifestyle of Indian kings (
Maharajah’s) and queens. Since we won’t be having much time, we
would survey its market and this probably would be the best way to come near
to the city. We would return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Jaipur
Get up in the morning as we would be having ample of things to do in
Jaipur. Some of these things would include exploration of tourist sites
which would include places like City Palace, Amber fort, Nahargarh fort.
Later in the evening we would take you to Mehandi parlour where an artiste
would tatoo your hands with Mehandi or Heena. This is an indian form of art
and is generally applied on hands and feet to a bride. From there we come
back to our hotel where a cultural show would be shown. Your dinner would be
served along with the cultural show. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 4 : Jaipur – Agra
In the evening we would leave Jaipur and move towards Agra. We would take a
bus route. Enroute would fall the
Fatehpur
Sikri which we would discover on our tour.
Jama
Masjid, Panch Mahal Tomb of Salim Chisti are just the few tourist spot
which we would discover on our Agra trail. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 5 : Agra - Varanasi
Later as we enter Agra, we would get an oppurtunity to see Taj Mahal, a
world Heritage site. Other places that we would see on our expedition would
be Agra fort. Overnight stay in the resort at Agra.
Day 6 : Varanasi
This morning from Agra, we would leave for
Varanasi.
Varanasi is a pilgrimage city and one of the most desired destination for
travellers. A train travel from Agra to Varanasi would save us time to
explore the city. In Varanasi, we have ample of things to see and watch and
that is why we have dedicated two days to capture the sacred sites of
Varanasi. In Varanasi, we would have booked a deluxe hotel for you. In the
evening we would visit some Ghats of Varanasi which are famous all over the
world. See the prayer which is held near the Ganges river and attain
sanctity of its own form. You would see the Puja (prayer) is performed by a
Pandit ( Saint) dressed in orange attire. He would be surrounded by the
dedicated lot who have collected there to attain Goddess Ganga blessings.
Later we would come back to our resort where a small documentary film would
be shown which would tell you more about Varanasi as a revered destination
Day 7 : Varanasi
This morning, we would start the journey with Ghats itself. A boat ride on
the Ganges river would give you a fulfilling experience. In the morning, you
would actually see the pristine Varanasi which is bound to surprise you.
Calm and poised, you would be inded be enticed to see Varanasi in the
morning, which is so different from itself by the time it is noon. After
navigating the city, we would like you to have your breakfast and get ready
for another fun. This time it would be a rickshaw ride and we would cover
some temples through them. Since the city is linked well, it appears as if
it is very small. You are definitely going to enjoy the moments you would
spend on rickshaw. We would also visit Banaras Hindu University one of the
oldest universities. After having our lunch in a good restaurant. We would
like you to watch the bazaars of Varanasi. Probably in one corner of the
city, you might find an astrologer. Show your hand and he would forecast
your future, but beware of touts as most of them are keen of money. Pay him
the required amount and consult our guide before that. Come back to the
resort and spend your night in the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 8: Delhi
Next morning, we would leave Varanasi to Delhi. Delhi is a capital city of
India and since we are on our pilgrimage tour we would cover all the Delhi
temples. Lotus Temples, Chattarpur temples, Kalka Mandir, Sis Ganj are the
ones which we would cover in the morning. In the evening, we would leave for
Akshardham temple, to take a glimpse of light and sound show.Overnight stay
in the resort.
Day 9: Delhi
Next morning, you would leave Delhi for your onward journey.
