I live in Delhi and could not find a good place to visit. But last month, I
got opportunity to visit “Akshardham Temple”. I must say it is a
delight for eyes. It is awesome, finally, Delhi has a place where the
tourist or travelers would love to go and experience the beauty of
architecture each and everything about that place is magnificent one can’t
stop oneself from praising the Temple. The premises are big enough that
family can easily spend the whole day there.
The temple is divided in different parts. There is a beautiful entrance
gate which has beautifully carved peacocks on it. There is also gate on
which all the gods are carved beautifully on it. Then there is a beautiful
garden with many models of horses and people everything is so well made that
one can’t put eyes off them then comes the main attraction the temple
it self everything inside the temple is totally holy. Outside the temple are
excellently curved elephants’ one can’t took eyes off them then
comes the biggest attraction that is the ‘musical fountain’. It is
most peace giving experience. The water comes out of the fountain in tune
with the music. There are mantras and shlokas going on it’s a great
experience and I think every one must at least once visit the place enjoy
the peace and beauty around.
