Last summer vacations our college group named for an outing so as to feel
relaxed. All the famous places like Shimla were already visited by us. So
this time we has a new destination Chakrata, 18000ft above Dehradun. By name
it seemed just like any other village but on reaching there, we all were
amazed. We felt like we all were in heaven. No crowd, no noise, no
pollution. There was just the Mother Nature and we people. It was like a
stage has been set with green carpet, green curtains within the clouds.
Unlike the other will stations it had very few people, no hotels, no markets
and ever no telephone connections. It was altogether a different experience
for all of us.
A Traveler Should visit this place because no one can imagine that there
could be this kind of place on earth. India is famous for its rich culture
and when it is mixed with Mother Nature a new image of our country is
created.
