June is the hottest month of the year in India. This is a month when every
body wants to beat the heat. Last week I got on opportunity to visit
Kullu-Manali in this season. I was happy and packed my luggage.
I took train up to Ambala. It was 2 hour Journey from New Delhi Railway
Station. Than I found my dream destination is about 350 Km for and all
distance can be covered by Road. I took a taxi and reached at Kullu Valley
late at night. It was pleasant there. Atmosphere was cool and clean. I was
worried about my accommodation, but a number of neon sign boards along with
tourist guides were stand late at night for welcome the tourists. No wonder
why it is famous among Indian tourist as well as foreigners too. A number of
hotels and other services to related to tourists were wreaking politely late
at night. I took a room have a tasty dinner served to me in the room with
great presentation. And last in my dreams. It was noon when I woke up and
order tea to room service. I switch on the T.V. for fresh News I low
temperature rose in Delhi up to 43°C. Meanwhile tea was served to me I
took bathe and checkout the room. I went to Manali that day and I was
surprised by the crowd of tourists these from all over world. I took a local
guide and plan my trip to the top of a mountain. We hire some tent and
accessories from a travel agency on very reasonable rates. By the evening we
camp in a Jungle and cooked our food. It was such a cold weather in night. I
imagine about my friends living in Delhi and compare my night with their
circumstances. I was lucky. Next morning we woke up early and after
answering the call of nature; we had some light breakfast. We start our
trekking and by the noon we are on the lad of a mountain named Rohtang pass.
I saw snow first time in my life. I was astonished and felt happy. We stayed
for two days on the top.
When we come down I visited another nearby town Manikaran. It is famous for
hot water spring. I took a taxi and road beside the river and between the
lush green Jungles led me to town. I took bath in natural hot water spring
and all my fatigue of Journey disappear I was planning to stay two more days
but suddenly my phone bell range It was boss other end. He want me office
next day. I have to leave the station. I came back to Kullu and stay at a
guest house that night. Next day I Caught first flight to Delhi and by the
noon I was present in front of Boss.
