Charabra - Charabra is an oblivious hill station in
the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the loftiest places in
Himachal Pradesh, nestled at 8,350 feet above sea level in the majestic
Himalayas. Also known as Mashobra, the beauty is mesmerizing, surrounded by
wide expanses of virgin woods of pine and cedar, the fresh aroma of the
earth wafts all the way from the lush valleys, and all the beauty is sure to
leave you invigorated as you trek the scenic mountain trails. Mashobra or
Charabra is an ideal weekend retreat amidst thick oak and pine forests,
exotic flowering plants like cobra lily, potentilla, cranes bill and
dog violets.

Kausani - Kausani is often neglected as most of the
travelers stops at Nainital, a popular commercial hill station. This is
perhaps a boon for this quiet hill station as uninterrupted peace is the
biggest drawcard. The hill station is surrounded by snow capped mountains
and imagination stirring scenic beauty. It is an ideal romantic destination
and offers fascinating and panoramic view of the Kumaon valley, and is
frequented by tourists for the incredible views of Himalayas. The best thing
of Kausani is climate, which never rise beyond 25 degrees even during the
peak summer.

Pithoragarh - Often referred to as Miniature
Kashmir, this eastern most town of Uttarakhand lies in the arms of the
Himalayas and is the ideal choice for those who search for beauty and
adventure. Pithoragarh is a home to the many alpine meadows and glaciers and
offers excellent trekking options to Milam, Ralam, Namik and Sunder Dhunga.
The famous Mansarovar trek also starts from Pithoragarh. You have a wide
range of adventure options such as trekking, water sports and trails to
explore the local flora and fauna.

Renuka- The biggest plus point of Renuka is few know
of it and fewer people go there. Famous as Renukaji in Himachal Pradesh,
this quaint village is situated at an altitude of 2,205 ft above sea level,
apart from from being a popular hill station, Renuka also has religious
sanctity. Apart from the scenic beauty, a mini zoo, 2 km away from the lake,
offer an opportunity to sight Asiatic lions, spotted deer, lion tailed
macaques, nilgai, mithun, barking deer and Himalayan balck bears. Near by at
Jamu peak a quiet but beautiful temple rests and affords a splendid view of
the lake and adjoining areas.

and the snowy views of the Dhauladhar, the white mountains seems not very
