Sariska is located right in the heart of the Aravali Hills, near Alwar in
Rajasthan.
The place got its name after a Palace named Sariska Palace that was the
king’s ‘Shikargaah’ which is located just outside the
reserve. The best part of staying in Sariska is that you can stay in the
palace itself, which gives you a Royal Feel. The rooms of the palace are
done just like they would have been in the king’s era, there is no
television or music systems provided in the room just maintain the quietness
& the peace of the reserve.
It’s a new world altogether. There you can go inside the reserve in a
hired gypsy & car get a closer glimpse of the wildlife, If you are lucky
enough can get to see the ‘big cat’ the Tiger.
It’s the ideal weekend destination for the people living in Delhi or
the adjacent areas. It’s just a 5 hours drive.
