Destination Coverd :Chennai - Munnar - Periyar - Kumarakom - Cochin - Chennai
Day 1 :Chennai
You would fly from your country to Chennai airport, where our tour executive would be waiting to take you to the pre-booked hotel. Please try to locate him at the arrival lounge, although he would be holding a name card. You would be served with delicious cuisine which would range from Continental, Intercontinental and Mughlai. Choose the one that suits you the best. Over night Stay in the hotel.

Day2 :Cochin
The distance between the two cities is 731 kms and we would either take a flight or a train to reach Cochin. The reason is simple, we want to reach early and we would prefer flight. We would reach Cochin by 11 AM and move straight to the Munnar, the nearest hill station. The hotel we would resort to be five star deluxe hotel. If you want you can mention your choice and we would be oblized to book that hotel for you.

After resting for an hr we would leave for our Munnar expedition. Munnar lies 16000 ft above the sea level, and was once a summer resort of erstwhile British government. There are number of things to explore in Munnar, particularly the tea plantations.

“For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.” – Said Martin Luther. Well you can behold this beauty in Munnar while surveying its landscape. You would indeed be delighted and we would me more as it would please you. We would also cover the famous Anamudi peak. The peak is located 2695 mt above the sea level.

The second half of the day would start your venture in woods. Yes! You would visit a wildlife sanctuary – Chinar , which is 60 kms from Munnar. Chinar Wildlife Sanctuary if not top rated, is an exculsive excursion from Munnar. Capture every moment you spend here as you would come across the varied flora and fuana of the region.

The cool environ and the greens would create a penchant for this place. The wildlife sanctuary is a habitat of Giant Grizzled Squirrel of India. Click few snaps of the exotic wildlife of the sanctuary as they are going to form a long lasting memories of Wildlife tour to India. We would return to our resort from wildlife expedition for an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 :Periyar
From Munnar we would leave for Periyar. We would board our luxury coach and head towards Periyar, after breakfast. In Periyar, we would book a wildlife resort. The wildlife resort we are going to book would be off deluxe class.

Spanning over an area of 777 Sq km, Periyar national park forms a great home to Elephants, Tigers, Small Indian Civets, Common Palm. We would have our lunch at the due time and then would move out for a Nature walk . This nature walk is going to be a guided tour and you can actually enjoy it as and when you enter it. With a group along, Periyar National park is just a green beauty to behold. The park attracts thousands of wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world and you would be just the lucky one amongst them.
Later in the evening we would book a safari which would take you out on a safari. This safari would cover every nook and corner of the park and would bring you closer to the Mother nature. Return back and enjoy the remaining evening at restuarant resort where food would be served along with an English movie.

Day4 :Periyar
Next morning at 5:30 hrs, we would take a Jungle tour by foot which would be organized to walk amidst the thick green forests. The speciality here is to glimpse and watch group of wild Elephants. After a walk, we would return to our resort and then visit the Spice gardens. This visit to Spice gardens are specially organized , as this area is world famous and rich in spices growing. In the gardens, you can enjoy watching different varieties of spices such as Cardomom, Cinnamon, Pepper, Clove, Ginger etc.

Our tour executive would narrate you an intresting history about the place. He would act as an perfect guide and would definitely stand by your side at any problem.In the afternoon, we would visit the Sanctuary to watch animals by boat. Navigating through Periyar lake would be fulfilling and would give you an experience of lifetime. We would return to hotel for an overnight stay. Return back to hotel for a stay.

Day 5 :Kumarakom
We would drive to Kumarakom after breakfast and then visit the much saught city of India. Kumarakom is a little islands and this small water world part is the part of Kuttanad. We would resort to one of the well known resorts at Kumarakom. We would actually not wait much in our resort and would board the bus or coach and head towards Kumarakom sightseeing. Our Kumarakom sightseeing would involve exploration of number of things.

We would first sail the backwaters of Kumarakoram. Slowly and steadily, we would navigate the Kumarakoram Backwaters on a well furnished Kettuvallams, Kettuvallam is nothing but 60 – 70 feet in length and a width of around 15 feet from the ground. These houseboats are made up of eco-friendly materials like Bamboos.

Must enroll yourself in this. It is going to be an awesome experience. Visit Kumarakoram backwaters during water carninval or boat races, you would find that almost entire Kerala assemble over there to watch the many colours of the state. Snake Boat Race which is held in the month of August/ September is a must watch. From Kumarakom backwaters, we would visit Kumarakoram bird sanctuary. On way we would halt for a good resturant to have our lunch.

The bird sanctuary is just 12 kms away from the sanctuary and is located on the banks of Vembanand lake. Spanning over an area of 101 sq km, Kumarakoram bird sanctuary showcases the beauty of avi fuana and flora species. A houseboat cruise or a motorboat cruise round the park would enable you to cover the many faceted of the land. We would easily navigate Kumarakoram bird sanctuary on boat. Don’t forget to Video shoot as you might navigate through the interiors of the bird sanctuary and you would definitely love being there. This sanctuary would make your Hat Trick and you would just love being here. We would again return to Kumarakoram Bird Sanctuary from Overnight Stay in the hotel.

Be a part of bird watching tour in Kumarakoram bird sanctuary and you would easily be able to see hoardes of birds wide spread on the green forests of Kumarakoram. The bird sanctuary is a favourite haunt for orinithologists. Just enjoy the time, you spend over here as the next trip would be an exploration. We would return to our resort where our food would be served. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 6 :Kumarakom

Day 7 :Cochin
From Kumarakoram, we would leave for Cochin. The city of Cochin is about 706 kilometers away from Kumarakoram and we would book a flight for you. In Cochin, we would halt for a day and relax the entire day. You would have your lunch in the city itself. Later in the evening, we would watch a Kathakali dance. Kathakali dance form is a traditional dance form and is an emotive as well as narrative recitals of long songs. You would definitely love being here as this would bring you closer to the Kerala city. Overnight Stay in the hotel.

Day 8 :Chennai
From Kumarakoram we would leave for Chennai, after breakfast. We would have a city tour here and would cover various tourist spots and then return back to hotel for an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9 :Back home
Next day you would either catch your flight back to home or would continue with an onward journey.
